Description
English: Khe Gio Bridge, South Vietnam. October 1970. Warrant Officer Class 2 (WO2) Barry Long, 35, of Balga, WA, seated in the firing seat fires a 40mm shell towards enemy territory in South Vietnam. WO2 Long is an infantry advisor with the Australian Army Training Team Vietnam (AATTV) and is presently based at Khe Gio Bridge in the far North of South Vietnam. The base is protected by a team of "dusters", armoured, tracked vehicles, armed with twin 40mm Bofors guns.
