Description
English: Ben Tranh District, South Vietnam. June 1970. Warrant Officer Class 2 (WO2) Ray (Scarlet) O'Hara of South Oakleigh, Vic (with hands on hips) and WO2 Bill Butler of Ingham, Qld, instruct Regional Force (RF) soldiers in the Delta region in the use of the M79 grenade launcher. The two Australian Army Training Team Vietnam (AATTV) advisers are in a Night Operations Advisory Team (NOAT) to retrain the RF soldiers for night ambushes against the local Viet Cong as part of a pilot project.
