| Description |
English: AA box 753 in Glen Dye. It is difficult to find anything else to photograph within the grid square!
Not many of these boxes now remain in the area. Once they were all locked and each member of the Automobile Association was issued with a key to open the boxes. The box is however now unlocked and open for anyone to use it. With mobile phones now in widespread use, most the boxes which remain are more of historical interest. This one however, as well as being a well known landmark on the Cairn o' Mount road, is also located in an area where not all mobile phone networks provide a signal. |
