Description
Español: Las bases temporarias Cámara y Decepción fueron abiertas para ser reaprovisionadas y comenzar a operar, en el marco de la Campaña Antártica de Verano (CAV) 2017/2018, que lleva adelante el Ministerio de Defensa.

Luego de navegar bajo una intensa nevada desde la base Carlini, el transporte ARA Canal Beagle fondeó en caleta Menguante de la isla Media Luna, para realizar la apertura de la base temporaria Teniente Cámara.

También, el buque Canal Beagle se abrió paso a través de los Fuelles de Neptuno para arribar a Puerto Foster, en la isla-volcán Decepción, donde el personal realizó la apertura de la base antártica temporaria Decepción, que también fue reaprovisionada para comenzar a operar.
