Description
Español: El Ministerio de Defensa informa que el buque patrullero ARA King zarpó desde el muelle de alistamiento del Astillero Río Santiago para realizar una prueba de sistemas antes de regresar a servicio, luego de haber sido sometido a un proceso de reparación y mantenimiento.

El objetivo de la navegación fue poner a punto todas las reparaciones que se realizaron desde 2014 y con ese fin se realizaron diferentes maniobras destinadas a verificar la evolución del buque con el nuevo sistema de timón, monitorear los motores principales, la planta de generación eléctrica y la respuesta de ambas líneas de ejes y sistemas asociados.

También se realizaron maniobras de fondeo verificando el funcionamiento de los sistemas involucrados y se efectuaron diferentes corridas en un clima de viento intenso.
