Description Four U.S. Marine Corps Hawker Siddley AV-8A Harriers of Marine Attack Squadron VMA-513 in flight near Marine Corps Air Station, Arizona (USA), in 1975. On 6 January 1971, the U.S. Marine Corps took delivery of its first Harrier, with VMA-513 becoming the first operational Harrier squadron later that year.
