Summary[edit]

Description
English: A Cracking Railway Bridge, Hayton, East Riding of Yorkshire, England.
The bridge carries a very minor track over the former Hull to York Railway. There are plans to re-instate this railway at a huge cost of ~£200,000,000, but this and no doubt many more bridges on this line, are in a poor state of repair. Although it can't be seen from here, there are two huge cracks either side of the brickwork on the top of the bridge and it would probably require a total re-build before the line could be used under it. The vertical black line at the side is a huge tree shadow that couldn't be avoided in the photograph in this instance!
