Summary

[edit]
Description

A Paradise for flycatchers, full of stagnant water and 1000's of flies. And there is lo, a Paradise Flycatcher. This one is a male noted by its black head till the throat. A female is grayish below the eyes till the throat.

This was also around the area where the stream was flowing. The bird had its fill of water while the other birds were tussling a bit. It landed 45 deg around 10 feet from me. Couldn't help take this nice shot nearly full frame. Being still and silent for a while photographing helps I suppose.

Thanks in advance for your views and feedback. Much appreciated.
