Description

A delightful little bird with lot of expressions. These woodswallows prefer wires and high habitats always. They roost on these high wires and thin bare branches of very tall trees all the time. So it is very hard to get a background like this and I was lucky on this day. The next day sighted around 50-60 of them sitting on a 100 feet high high tension wire. They huddle very closely as if they are hugging. It was a sight to remember.

We were climbing a hill and the elevated road provided a wonderful eye level view of 3 of these birds. I think they were a family and this one is the youngest of the two chicks.
