Summary[edit]

Description

This rocky crater floor has an interesting system of ridges throughout it. This crater is one of hundreds of huge impacts in the Promethei Terra region of Mars, which is located to the east of the even larger Hellas impact basin. Could tectonic processes have been responsible for the formation of the ridges?

Image is less than 5 km (3 mi) across and is 253 km (157 mi) above the surface. For full images including scale bars, visit the source link.
