Description

Another bird on my to-do list for quite a while now. I had seen it last year October and since then looked for it. We sighted it near the Tickell's, Ultramarine and other woodpeckers area, but it was quite restless and barely came out into the open. This one shot was the only time it was in full view.

The bird is just other flycatchers hunting small insects like flies and caterpillars. It is also a top canopy bird and doesn't come to ground much. The male and female both look similar, but the male is much more darker verditer color. Verditer is a shade of blue. I think this one is a male based on the darker plumage color on the breast area. The female is considered lighter and looks faded.
