| Description |
Eesti: See aatompommi sarnane seade on tegelikult aatomjõu mikroskoop, mis on üks põhilisi nanomaailma karakteriseerijaid. Nimelt skaneeritakse üliterava nõelaga üle materjali pinna ja saadakse sellest kolmemõõtmeline kujutis. Materjali uurimisel selle meetodiga valitakse sageli "sobiv" väike ala, mis peaks iseloomustama kogu pinda. Seega peaks seda ka teadusartikli lugemisel silmas pidama - uuritud ei ole ju ikkagi tervet proovi vaid suvalist punkti selle pinna peal, mis võib oluliselt erineda ülejäänud pinnast! |
