| Description |
Français : Le bûcheron — second intervenant en partant de la gauche — est en train de couper l’arbre câblé, qui penche à gauche mais doit être abattu vers la droite, hors de la zone humide à gauche. L’arbre penche trop pour qu’un abattage directionnel soit suffisant, donc le conducteur du débusqueur — intervenant de gauche — a attaché son câble de débardage à l’arbre pour le tirer, via un renvoi du câble dans une souche, hors de la zone humide. Ce conducteur contrôle son débusqueur à distance par un boîtier attaché sur le devant de sa ceinture.
English: The lumberjack —second from left— is cutting the winched tree, leaning on its left but to be felled on its right, away from the wet area of its left. The tree leans too much to use a simple directional felling, so the skidder operator —first from left— attached its winch cable to the tree to pull it away the wet area, using a stub to deflect the tree away from the skidder he remotely controls using a remote on the front of his belt. |
