| Description |
Français : L’arbre câblé penchait à gauche mais devait être abattu vers la droite, hors de la zone humide à gauche. L’arbre penchait trop pour qu’un abattage directionnel soit suffisant, donc le conducteur du débusqueur — à la casquette à gauche — a attaché son câble de débardage à l’arbre pour le tirer, via un renvoi du câble dans une souche, hors de la zone humide. Ce conducteur contrôle son débusqueur à distance par un boîtier attaché sur le devant de sa ceinture.
English: The winched tree leaned on its left but was to be felled on its right, away from the wet area of its left. The tree leaned too much to use a simple directional felling, so the skidder operator —with the cap on the left— attached its winch cable to the tree to pull it away the wet area, using a stub to deflect the tree away from the skidder he remotely controls using a remote on the front of his belt. |
