  • 3 – optically transparent material (the angled side prevents sound wave reflection and formation of a standing wave)

  • 5ultrasonic running wave
  • 6piezoelectric crystal, which converts electrical signal to the sound wave

  • 8 – non-zero orders of diffraction (they exist only when the sound wave is present)
