The mosque, which was opened in 1998 in the Reşatbey district of Adana, south of Merkez Park and on the west bank of the Seyhan River.

| Description |
English: Due to its location, Sabancı Merkez Mosque has become a symbol of the city, as it is at the intersection of the main arteries, railway and roads connecting Adana to the surrounding provinces and districts, and is visible from afar with its high minarets. The mosque can accommodate 28,500 people and is one of the largest mosques in the Balkans and the Middle East. The 32-meter diameter dome of Sabancı Mosque, which has a magnificent structure on the banks of the Seyhan River, sits on eight elephant feet. The height of the dome from the level of prayer is 54 meters. The four minarets adjacent to the main body are 99 meters high, and the two minarets in the narthex are 75 meters high. The mosque has all kinds of facilities with 4 lecture rooms, 10 Itikaf rooms, imam and muezzin rooms, chat rooms and a fountain. |
