Afrikaans: Dwarssnit van 'n knoffelbol wat die onderskeie huisies uitlig. Dit is soos 'n Voronoi-diagram gevorm en benader 'n logaritmiese spiraal, afhangend van druk in die groeiomgewing.
Français : Vue en coupe d'une tête (bulbe) d'ail. La forme suit le diagramme de Voronoï et une forme proche d'une spirale logarithmique (dépend des pression à l'endroit où il pousse).
