Description
עברית: כיכר אל-בורג' בצומת הרחובות מעלה השחרור (בעבר רחוב הבורג') ושיבת ציון (בעבר רחוב סטנטון). בצומת זה, במקום בו נמצאת כיום הכיכר, הייתה באר מים. הכיכר הוקמה לציון מבצר בורג' א-סלאם שעמד בקצה "גן הזיכרון" של ימינו.
English: Al-Burj Square at the intersection of Ma'ale Hashichrur (formerly Burj) and Shivat Tzion (formerly Stanton). This intersection, the present location of the square, previously contained a water well. The square was constructed to memorialize the Burj Al-Salam fort, which was located at the edge of what is today Gan Hazikaron (Garden of Remembrance). Haifa, Israel.
