Bahasa Indonesia: Kapal dan perahu merupakan moda transportasi laut yang digunakan oleh manusia selama berabad-abad untuk mempermudah aktivitasnya seperti untuk menangangkut penumapang dan mengangkut barang.
Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman kapal dan perahu mengalami perubahan. Pada zaman dahulu kapal dan perahu terbuat dari kayu dan bambu, sekarang menggunakan bahan logam dan fiber dan pada zaman dahulu kapal dan perahu digerakkan oleh dayung dan layar yang digerakkan dengan bantuan angin, sekarang menggunakan tenaga mesin. Dan meskipun sekarang kapal dan perahu modern seperti speed boad sudah mendominasi moda transportasi laut namun kapal dan perahu tradisional seperti kapal nelayan dan perahu kayu masih sering di temui pada perairan atau sungai-sungai dangkal tempat wisata.English: Ships and boats are modes of sea transportation used by humans for centuries to facilitate their activities such as to transport passengers and transport goods.
Along with the times, ships and boats have changed. In ancient times ships and boats were made of wood and bamboo, now using metal and fiber and in ancient times ships and boats were driven by oars and sails driven by wind, now using engine power.And although now modern ships and boats such as speed boats have dominated the mode of sea transportation, traditional boats and boats such as fishing boats and wooden boats are still often encountered in shallow waters or rivers for tourist attractions |
