Description

М.А. Зичи. "Высочайший прием в Зимнем дворце 5 апреля 1866 года после первого покушения на императора Александра II. ", выполненную в 1866 г. (бумага, акварель, белила).

4 апреля 1866 года исключенный из Московского университета за неуплату Д.В. Каракозов совершил неудачное покушение на императора Александра II после его прогулки по Летнему саду. Трагедии удалось избежать благодаря героическому поступку костромского крестьянина О.И. Комиссарова, оттолкнувшего руку террориста, за что впоследствии он был возведен в дворянское достоинство с фамилией Комиссаров-Костромской.

На акварели работы придворного художника Михаила Александровича Зичи изображены (слева направо): граф Б.А. Перовский, великий князь Алексей Александрович, великий князь Владимир Александрович, князь В.И. Барятинский, цесаревич Александр Александрович, императрица Мария Александровна и император Александр II.

Справа представлена группа из шестнадцати видных государственных деятелей, среди которых: министр императорского двора и уделов граф В.Ф. Адлерберг, министр внутренних дел П.А. Валуев, начальник III отделения Собственной ЕИВ канцелярии и шеф жандармов князь В.А. Долгоруков, санкт-петербургский военный генерал-губернатор князь А.А. Суворов-Италийский, санкт-петербургский губернский предводитель дворянства граф В.П. Орлов-Давыдов и другие.
