Description
Русский: Благовещенская усыпальница Александро-Невской лавры. Безбородко, Александр Андреевич (1747—1799). Скульптурный памятник. Ск. Ж. Д. Рашетт, арх. Н. А. Львов, 1803 г. Бронзовая многофигурная композиция на мраморном постаменте. В центре на колонне портретный бюст Безбородко, за ним крылатый гений Мира с оливковой ветвью. По сторонам две аллегорические женские фигуры: слева сидящая на стопке книг возле нее фигурка петуха; справа крылатая, опирающаяся на колонну На колонне и постаменте вырублены надписи. Надгробие А. А. Безбородко установлено в палатке, в нише южной стены. Цоколь памятника с надписью и датой был скрыт под настилом поднятого пола, обнаружен при музеефикации Благовещенской усыпальницы в 1930-е гг.
