Alexandra Holownia, born 1954 in Wrzesnia Poland. Graduate at PWSSP (Państwowa Wyższa Szkoła Sztuk Plastycznych)Poznan Poland (1978), Aufbaustudium an der ASP(Akademia Sztuk Pięknyh) Warsaw Poland and Aufbaustudium an der UdK (Universität der Künste) Berlin Germany working as a contemporary art critic, collaborated with many Polish cultural magazines and art magazines. In 1999, she co-founded, with Jacek Kasprzycki and Paweł Lubowski, magazine on contemporary art Arteon, where she worked as a foreign editor in 1999-2005. Since 2005 she has been cooperating with the art magazin Format. In the years 2008-2013 she was a foreing editor of the monthly FOTO. In 2008-2016, she had her blog on the renowed culture online inernet magazin www. o.pl. In 2008-2009 she also collaborated with the Krakow cultural magazine Fragile, and in 2015-2016 the London portal on artistic photography Fresh from Poland. Since 2017, he has been among the authors of the Aspiracje quarterly, published by the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Alexandra Holownia's articles are a unique source of research in the field of contemporary film and photography. Sie arbeitete als Kritikerin der zeitgenössischen Kunst mit vielen polnischen Kultur- und Kunstmagazinen zusammen. 1999 gründete sie zusammen mit Jacek Kasprzycki und Paweł Lubowski eine Zeitschrift für zeitgenössische Kunst "Arteon", in der sie 1999-2005 als ausländische Redakteurin arbeitete. Seit 2005 schreib sie für Kunstmagazin "Format" . In den Jahren 2008-2013 war sie Redakteurin des monatlichen Magazin FOTO. In den Jahren 2008-2016 hatte sie ihren Blog in renommierten online Kulturmagazin www. o.pl. 2008-2009 arbeitete sie außerdem mit dem Krakauer Kulturmagazin Fragile und 2015-2016 mit dem Londoner Portal für künstlerische Fotografie Fresh from Poland zusammen. Seit 2017 gehört er zu den Autoren des vierteljährlich von der Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Warschau herausgegebenen Aspiracje.
