| Description |
English: All roads lead to the bar Tigh Na Truish, the inn of the trousers, with Clachan bridge leading the way over Seil Sound. One reason for the name is that it was the place that islanders changed out of the kilt and into trousers following its prohibition after the Jacobite uprising. Another perhaps less prosaic reason is that it may have been a tailor's shop. |
