Description
Deutsch: Die Volksbank direkt am Ufer der Ahr. Hier macht die Ahr eine Biegung nach links und die Strömung des Wassers drückte mit voller Wucht gegen das rechte Ufer. Das Wasser stand hier anscheinend bis unter die Fensterbank des ersten Stocks.
English: The Volksbank directly on the bank of the Ahr. Here the Ahr makes a bend to the left and the current of the water pressed with full force against the right bank. The water here was apparently up to under the window sill of the second floor.
