Description

When I got an amaryllis just before Christmas last year I also bought a bulb and put it aside since we were going to be away for a couple of weeks. I planted it about a month ago and got two flower heads. One flowered and I was going to take a photo of it but before I got around to it the other started to open up. So now we have an amaryllis with two heads blooming at the same time. It's difficult to do it justice in the photograph because I can't get all eight blooms in the picture at the same time. But here are a couple of attempts.
