Summary[edit]

Description
English: One of the naos from the funerary temple of Amenemhat III at Hawara. The left figure, flexing his arm across his chest in order to bring a sign "ankh" (life) to the face of his partner, is surely the deified king Amenemhat III. Therefore, the king on the right, can be none other than his son and successor on the throne, Amenemhat IV.

Aswan pink granite.
