Summary[edit]
DescriptionAn encapsulation of Romanian culture, far from home.jpg |
English: As part of the event, we brought and talked about a vast range of traditional Romanian objects, including folk instruments like the nai, and fluier being played by the person on the left. The fluier was commonly played by shepherds tending to their sheep and goats in the Carpathian mountains, and its beautiful melody is an integral part of our culture. Other objects visible in the background include folk sculpted spoons, plates, traditional hats from the Maramures region, and traditional embroidered 'Ie' shirts, of various ages, from different regions.
