Description
Français : Gravure dessinée par André Daulier Deslandes, tirée de son livre « Les Beautez de la Perse, ou la description de ce qu'il y a de plus curieux dans ce Royaume, enrichie de la Carte du Païs, & de plufieurs Eftampes deffignées fur les lieux. » qui représente un cavalier tenant un bouclier sur lequel on peut lire « Les Beautés de la Perse » qui est armé d'un carquois en bandouillère. Une gourde prend à son côté. Il est vêtu d'un habit perse (iranien). Derrière, on voit la caravane « de six cents chameaux et presqu'autant de chevaux » qu'il a joint à Tauris (Tabriz). Il est presque certain que le cavalier représente André Daulier Deslandes, car la légende de cette gravure dit « Ou ce qu'il y a de plus beau dans ce royaume est descrit et dessigné au naturel par le Sr. Daulier Deslandes, Vendomois. »
