Description
Français : Animation de l'écoulement autour d'un cylindre, images captées par L. Prandtl dans sa cuve à eau. Sur les trois premières images, on peut observer la formation des deux tourbillons aval. L'image 4 montre que ces deux tourbillons aval se fédèrent pour produire le lâcher de tourbillons alternés bien connu que l'on retrouve sur l'animation ci-dessous :
