Notes The effigy bears a strong resemblance to two miniatures identified beyond doubt as portraits of Anna Vasa (1568-1625), one in the Rohrau Castle (?), the other in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence. Before 1804 the painting was in the Palatine Castle in Neuburg an der Donau, therefore possibly it comes from a dowry of Anna Catherine Constance Vasa (1619-1651), Anna Vasa's niece. Similar painting is in the Lobkowicz Palace in Prague (Inv. 125.). Identification of the sitter by Marcin Latka (Artinpl), 10.04.2021.
