Notes Taking into consideration the costume of the sitter, it is more likely that original portrait after which the etching was made almost a century later depicted Anna Jagiellon and not Barbara Radziwill. The inscription in Polish identifying the figure as Queen Barbara is later, possibly 19th century addition. Identification by Marcin Latka (Artinpl).
