| Description |
English: Another Place, Crosby Beach. Looking across the Mersey Estuary to the Wirral, with the Welsh hills visible in the distance. The two figures in the photo are part of Antony Gormley's sculpture "Another Place". Crosby Beach now has 100 of these iron cast statues of Gormley himself, all facing out to sea and at various distances from the shore - the effect is 'interesting'. |
