Français : Appartient au type de l' Aphrodite pudique (ΑΦροδίτης αιδουμένης), où la déesse était représentée tentant de cacher ses seins de la main droite, tandis que la main gauche essaie de retenir le vêtement. L'usure due à l'érosion marine met en valeur la fluidité des volumes originaux.
English: Aprodite "aidoumene" (modest), possibly a cult statue. The erosion of the sculpture by sand and sea enhances the fluidity of its original volumes and planes.
