Français : Aqueduc de Mons à Fréjus, concrétions intra-luminales.
English: Calc sinter deposits, covering the inner walls of the Roman aqueduct Mons/Montauroux - Fréjus, in a karstic region of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur.
The calcareous layers are distinct and dense (average: 1 mm/year).
Deutsch: Probe einer Kalksinter-Ablagerung; Innenwand des Römischen Aquädukts, Mons/Montauroux - Fréjus; Karstregion der Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur.
Die unterschiedlich starke, aber dichte Sinterschichtung (Durchschnitt 1 mm/Jahr) ist gut erkennbar.
