Summary[edit]

Description
English: Part if the Ian McKinnon Flyover in Auckland City, New Zealand. Once constructed to have the future Dominion Road motorway (!) cross New North Road. Thankfully that never happened, but it's still impressive.

This is a pedestrian tunnel from near the southeast of the flyover, looking west underneath it to the continuation of New North Road. Again, it's an example of bad design - dark, narrow, low, badly maintained. And out of the way, next to the rail line, both bad for security and forcing a detour. These days, people thankfully can use the cycle lanes on New North Road instead.
