Summary[edit]

Description

With the line between Cardiff Queen St and Cardiff Central closed over the Easter weekend, Arriva Trains Wales services were subject to a number of diversions, rail replacement buses, and other alterations. On Easter Monday, services from Treherbert were running to Cardiff Bay via, as were services on the Rhymney Valley.

The 2B73 1447 Treherbert to Cardiff Bay service is seen on arrival at Cardiff Queen Street, formed of a typical Valley Lines Pacer combo, the 143 on the rear of the train having been recently repainted.

Thanks to the friendly staff at Queen St. who made me and the boys very welcome.
