Summary[edit]
DescriptionArtifacts excavated at the site- that's one of the original bottles (26985107144).jpg | More fascinating artifacts excavated from the site of the Newman Wine Vaults- dating back to the 1800s, this counter top case shows fragments of port bottles from that era. At the top is the base of a bottle, in the bottom is the neck of another. At the centre is a complete bottle, painfully pieced together from fragments found at the site- almost complete save for a hole at the side. Wow, this is history for you, a bottle of port dating back to the 1800s! Notes about the Newman Wine Vaults appear in previous and subsequent captions in this album.
