| Description |
English: Artwork and sailing boats. These elements are part of a sculpture that was created in 2002 by the artist Paul Smith. Altogether 12 uprights stand beside the Wherryman's Way long distance footpath on the way from Coldham Hall Tavern towards Wheatfen Broad, home of the naturalist Ted Ellis > 1341496. The elements are shaped to convey the movement of water and reed formations, using mosaic tiles to reflect the patterns and colours of fish, fowl or flora. The nearby mosaic-inlaid bench was created by the same artist. 1375593 |
