Description
English: Arzakan (Dimitri) Emukhvari was a leading Abkhaz-Georgian politician. Led the 1905 revolution in Sokhumi in taking over control over the city. From 1919 he headed the first Autonomous government of Abkhazia within Georgia. He died in exile in 1939 in from blood poisoning.
