English: Site of Ashby Magna station (GCR), beside M1 motorway. View southward - on a foggy day, towards Woodford Halse and London (Marylebone) on the ex-GCR main line from Sheffield, Nottingham and Leicester. Most of which was closed completely from 5/9/66, but Ashby Magna, although losed on 22/10/62, was on the Nottingham (Arkwright Street) - Rugby (Central) remnant that survived until 5/ |
