Aslaug Turner and two of her children. Aslaug Turner was married to Maurice Russel Turner who came to Stongfjorden as a chemical engineer in 1910 and then became director of the aluminium factory in 1911. The family had to flee Stongfjorden when the Germans occupied Norway in 1940.
