Sakkaden und Blickziele, Kunstraum Düsseldorf, 2015

Das Bild zeigt die Situation im Kunstraum Düsseldorf während der Installation der Kugel und Strichlinien, deren Position anhand einer Hasucha-Eyetracking-Sequenz ermittelt wurden.

Am 16. Juli 2015 betrat Christian Hasucha zum ersten Mal den Kunstraum Düsseldorf. Er hatte sich ein helmartiges Gestell mit zwei Kameras auf den Kopf gesetzt. Eine Kamera zeichnete sein Blickfeld, die andere seine Augenbewegungen auf. Hasucha hielt seine Augen geschlossen, bis er vom Kurator zu einem bestimmten Punkt geführt und aufgefordert wurde, sie zu öffnen. Hasuchas großenteils unbewusste Augenbewegungen der folgenden 20 Sekunden dienten dann als Grundlage für die Installation, die seinen ersten schweifenden Blick in Form von Kugeln (Blickstopps) und Stichlinien (Sakkaden, d.h. Augenbewegungen) materialisierte.
