Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Avenue U branch of HSBC, at the southeast corner of Avenue U and East 17th Street in Homecrest, Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn. The was previously a branch of Republic National Bank and Metropolitan Savings Bank, and was originally the Sheepshead Bay branch of the East Brooklyn Savings Bank. Like other older bank buildings, there are murals inside by Lumen Marten Winter.
