| Description |
English: Built in 1907, this Gothic Revival-style building was constructed for the congregation of Aveleigh Presbyterian Church, and was altered with the addition of red brick veneer to the exterior in 1930, and the addition of an educational building and gymnasium in the mid-20th Century, and a front narthex sometime around the turn of the 21st Century. The building features a gabled roof, a red brick exterior, gothic arched bays at the sanctuary and narthex with stained glass windows, brick buttresses, exposed rafter tails, and educational wings to the north and west of the sanctuary. The building is a noncontributing structure in the Main Street Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. |
