Summary[edit]
| Description |
English: "Old coloured engraving depicting the Three Holy Marys arriving in the French Camargue. Tradition says that the Three Marys were expelled from Palestine and put in a boat without sails or oars with which they crossed the Mediterranean Sea until they reached the coast of the French Camargue. They stayed in this place after miraculously sprouting fresh water. When they died, they were buried here."
