Summary[edit]
One of the few remaining Avro Vulcan bombers. This is XM607 who is at RAF Waddington and known as "the gate guardian". This photo was taken on an iconic date, October 11th 2015 when her sister plane XH558 did a fly over as part of her farewell tour archive copy at the Wayback Machine, before she was retired from flight at the end of that season. RAF Waddington was the first and last operational base of the Avro Vulcan B2s, and XM607 took part in operation blackbuck during the Falklands war [1]
