Description
English: From https://broadway.library.sc.edu/content/virginia-bacon-0.html: The niece of actor Frank "Lightnin'" Bacon, dancer Virginia Bacon was trained by Broadway choreographer Ned Wayburn. He made her the star of his first "Variety Show" in 1925. She went immediately into vaudeville, teaming with Eugene Jenkins and backed by a quartet of girl hoofers and tuxedoes. Her motto: "Beautiful Girls and Something Different in Dance."
