Summary[edit]

Description
English: Bacterial chemotaxis or movement in response to a chemical stimulus. Bacteria expressing the small ultra red fluorescent protein (smURFP) are fluorescently imaged to show movement. Bacteria are attracted to glucose & sucrose, but repelled by glycine. Happy #FluorescenceFriday!
