English: Villa Gravina di Comitini, later Lanza di Trabia in Bagheria (Pa): an impressive example of Neoclassical architecture in Sicily. It was built in the second half of the XVIII century. Between 1796 and 1797 painter Elia Interguglielmi decorated the main rooms with frescoes inspired to the Greek-Roman Antiquity.
Italiano: Villa Gravina di Comitini, poi Lanza di Trabia a Bagheria (Pa). Costruita nel corso della seconda metà del XVIII secolo, costituisce una delle architetture più riuscite del Classicismo in Sicilia. Negli anni 1796-97 le sale principali vennero affrescate dal pittore Elia Interguglielmi, con scene ispirate all'antichità greco-romana. |
