Summary[edit]

Description

NPS/Patrick Myers

Bald eagles were chosen as our national symbol for their majestic appearance and fierce determination. Though not common at Great Sand Dunes, this short video clip shows five eagles searching for food in a low autumn wetland west of the dunefield. The #YearOfTheBird celebration continues through the rest of 2018!
